I'm neurodivergent, and my brain has never responded well to one-size-fits-all systems. I've been diagnosed with CPTSD, ADHD, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and I know how heavy it feels to be told to "just get organized." I also know how much it matters to have a home that feels safe and cozy. Decluttering and maintaining my space is one of the ways I manage my symptoms, and it's part of why I take this work so personally.
What finally worked for me was starting with my values, not my shelves. When I understood what I needed my space to do for me, the decisions got easier, and they stayed made. That's the approach I bring to every client: discovery first, decluttering second, and never any judgement about where you're starting.
I realized I wanted to do this professionally after helping neurodivergent people close to me organize their spaces. When I decided to leave healthcare administration, they encouraged me to make it my career, and Self, Sorted was born.
Outside of Self, Sorted, you'll find me playing TTRPGs, practicing Pilates (I'm currently in teacher training!), visiting Hexes and Brews in Santa Ana, and spending time with my chosen family.
